The Speed Egg a very versatile board which can be used as a small point cruiser or a step up for bigger more powerful surf. It's wide point has been pushed forward putting foam under the chest which gives it great paddle power. This also straightens its outline leading into the fins, helping it draw out carves in bigger surf. It's rocker line is quite flat, particularly in the nose, for a board of this length. It features a light double concave providing a bit of squirt, to Vee double out the back third, which helps a reasonably large board transition from rail to rail quite easily. It has a thinned out tail and low rail helping it to engage rail easily and remain sensitive under foot. It can be surfed as a thruster, quad, twin fin or 2+1.
