The Golden Boy is your classic all round shortboard which will work best in clean 4-6ft surf but can also be used as a groveller in less favourable conditions for those that like to always be on a proper shortboard. A deep single concave throughout makes it a very fast drivey board. It has a slightly lower tail rocker than some, but the apex of its rail line curve is pushed back between the feet, giving you the feeling of a board that will instantly and easily go wherever directed. This combined with low soft rails makes it feel smooth, responsive and predictable through turns. It can be ordered as a r/square, swallow or round tail and can be surfed as a thruster or quad. Quad working best with a swallow or round pin in powerful hollow surf. Channels are also a popular addition, giving even more drive and hold for powerful rail surfing.
